Nigerian super talented vocalist and music author, Chike has premieres the official music video of his song titled “Ego Oyibo.”

“Ego Oyibo” literally means ‘foreign money (currency)’ in English. Chike eulogises the lady he loves in the song, which sounds refreshing.

DeeYasso was credited with the production. The ballad song “Ego Oyibo” serves as a follow-up to Chike’s recent soundtrack “On Fire (Pana Time).”

Served as the singer’s first official new outing of 2023 after the visual spectacle of ‘Ón the Moon‘ and the thrilling Oxlade aided ‘Spell.’

‘Égo Oyibo‘ sees the ‘Boo of the Booless‘ maestro in highlife element serenading his lover, as he sings about meeting her parents, paying her bride price, and starting a family with honeyed vocals and irresistible lyrics fused with Igbo, English, and Pidgin.

Chike sounds joyous and in love as he takes you on a delightful ride over the course of 3 minutes with his to-go producer – DeeYasso, reminding listeners why they first fell in love with his audacious musical stylings and stellar vocals.
