Singer Seyi Shay Dragged on Twitter for Criticizing Nigerian Idol Contestant
Seasoned Nigerian songstress, Deborah Oluwaseyi better known as Seyi Shay has been dragged on Twitter for criticizing a constestant at the Nigerian Idol Auditions.
The singer is one of the three judges at the talent hunt show which includes DJ Sose and Obi Asika.
However, Seyi Shay found herself on the slippery streets of Twitter this morning after condemning a 17-year old contestant for his awkward music performance at the auditions.
She not only bashed him for having a poor carriage on stage, she added that the he shouldn’t have been there for the auditions and will never make money from music in this life.
This didn’t sit well with many Nigerians who couldn’t help but drag her on social media by digging up her embarrassing past in music, baring all the details of her seemingly struggling music career, and even saying she’s an upcoming artist.
She sat at the number 2 spot on Nigerian Twitter all morning as the dragging took to a high crescendo.

What the freaking hell, what does Seyi Shay feel like sef, this is a 17 year old boy with a good voice that just needs training and she straight up told him he was horrible and the singing thing would never work, this is supposed to be a platform to help talents. Seyi Shay looked at someone and said "you'll never make money as a singer"
Definitive. The god-complex. The guy clearly stated that he's nervous.
Some people are terrible.
