Wizkid has made an official entry into the Billboard Hot 100 Chart with his song “Essence” which features Tems.

Nigerian pop icon Wizkid is currently making history as his song “Essence” off his fourth studio album “Made In Lagos” entered the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

“Essence” made an entry into the Billboard Hot 100 Chart at position 82. He becomes the first Nigerian musician to ever grace the Billboard chart with his solo single. The song has witnessed virality this summer as many music lovers in America keep discovering the tune, pushing the streaming numbers up.

Currently, “Essence” has sold over 40,000 units in America. While “Essence” is currently on Billboard Hot 100, “Made In Lagos” is on the Billboard Hot 200 Albums Chart.
